Pre-operational and Control Methods

The assigned HSSS engineer will, in most instances, jointly with the client, make a pre operations inspection to appraise the mechanical integrity of both baskets and seals, identify areas of concern and pre-existing damage. Rotational direction will be confirmed and clearly marked. Damage identified will be documented and consideration will be given during the cleaning programme to minimise further damage.
HSSS engineer will make a judgment on the method of approach to be adopted for the clean at hand, based on the pre-operational visual appraisal & performance data obtained. There are several control options at his disposal in order to optimise the cleaning effect whilst minimising the preventable damage:
-
Rotational speed of heater
-
Pump flow & pressure delivery
-
Jet size/ configuration & stand off from elements
-
Jet dwell time between movements
-
Jet index traveling distance
